I led the creative direction for the Dubai shoot, bringing eight PlayStation Playmakers together for one film. Alongside the production, I shot and built the social content that turned the same day into six more owned pieces.

When the account was between agencies in April 2026, I stepped up to lead PlayStation Arabia's Instagram, Facebook and X for a three-month interim. I moved the feed from product announcements to questions for the community, formats that ask players about themselves, and giveaways, all in Gulf Arabic. The results secured a 12-month retainer, and I stayed on as creative lead. This is the first month against the one before it.

Our take on the Gulf's accidental-selfie trend, where a child grabs a brand's phone and the selfie gets posted: Astro in the corner, Hegra behind. Up on 29 July, two days before the trade press wrote the trend up. I was on leave when it broke; I made it and posted it anyway.

Middle East Gamer was dead in the water when I picked it up. My content brought it back first: I built its short-form presence from zero, and Dying Light: The Beast's launch week put it on the map. The rebrand came after, and I did it start to finish by myself: the MEGAMER identity, the brand book and the redesigned site. Today one Reel can do 445K views, like UNFROST for an indie co-op horror game. Next: print, with concept covers for a MEGAMER magazine.

Gaming was my first community, and making content about it was my first creative outlet. I studied filmmaking to turn that into a craft, then moved to Dubai, where I now lead content production and social campaigns for PlayStation Arabia at ITP Gaming.

Along the way I've gone from cutting behind-the-scenes edits to growing PlayStation Arabia's Instagram to 10M views a month and securing a 12-month retainer for the account. Whether it's Gamer Knowledge, the community I've run since 2019, Middle East Gamer's launch coverage, or partner campaigns with EA and Ubisoft, my focus is simple: content that real gamers actually care about.
