Middle East Gamer · Third-party launch coverage
10.5 million viewsin a launch week.
Dying Light: The Beast launched in September 2025. Middle East Gamer's short-form channels were weeks old. Eighteen pieces later, the coverage had 10.5M views, Techland's community was quoting it back, and Tencent's regional team booked the publication's first paid promotion of the game. The format has run on every big launch since.

01 · The format
Find the thing playerswill search for tomorrow.
Launch-week coverage is a race against the audience's own discovery. The plan ranks what is worth finding (a secret weapon, a developer joke, a blueprint behind a locked door), I play to it and capture, and each piece is cut so the payoff lands inside the first seconds and the location is clear enough to follow.
Four of the eighteen Dying Light: The Beast pieces. No voiceover: on-screen direction, captions and the game's own audio.
We received a wave of comments from players looking back on their favourite moments from past games and sharing their love for this new instalment.
The report to the publisher covered views, engagement, platform splits, the highlights and the review. The response from Tencent Level Infinite was a first: an official regional promotion of the game with the publication, launched in January 2026.

Ghost of Yōtei: nineteen sword kits and Easter eggs

The community began sharing outfits built from the kits they found through the videos.
High on Life 2: twenty-two pieces in seven days

Squanch Games, February 2026. 1.4M views, 84K engagements.
03 · One Reel, one studio
UNFROST:447,787 views.
A voiced recommendation for Nord Unit's UNFROST, posted 19 October 2026. 445,229 views on Instagram alone, 39.9K shares, 14.7K saves. The developer wrote to ask what happened to their wishlist. That Reel became its own case study page for the media kit.
The recommendation format is the other half of launch coverage: a game nobody has heard of, a hook in the first line, my voice, the trailer cut to the script, a wishlist call to action. Fifty-odd of them since February 2026. The format and the brand style were rebuilt in October 2026 around the MEGAMER identity.
04 · Phantom Blade Zero
The format,this month.
Phantom Blade Zero launched in late October 2026. Same approach: a coverage plan of hidden weapons and missables, played and captured in-house, no voiceover, the game logo up top and room for the TikTok title.
